I jinxed myself. After a great day of tips on Friday, today was so slow. I raked in like $15. Argh. Apparently our Mardi gras themed week isn't going to be as popular as we thought, even with funnel cakes all week long as dessert! I was decked out in my cheap Mardi Gras wear, but my fellow servers laughed at me and I got the nickname Captain Kernal (apparently I looked like corn). My slogan was "Captain Kernal pops into action." All the girls also tried to get me to wear the wigs but they clashed with my outfit (and my superhero look) For those who knew me in my bandana-after-shower stage/Aunt Jemima, this was a throw-back to then! But tomorrow is Pancake Tuesday! YUMMY!
