Weekend was good times! Friday night, checked out Starlight. It was very nice. A great change in scenery and it was definately suffiecently busy. I would recommend going maybe once a month for something different than your standard bar (in my case, in place of Bomber).
Saturday was an early day as we headed to Ben's olympics at 2pm. There was an offical torch lighting ceremony in which we lit up zambuca shots. The first event was snow pictionary which involved a water bottle strapped to your crotch filled with warm lemonade. The following event was the biatholon, shooting and skiing. My words can not describe what this event actually was or what it was like watching it. Then we headed home for a quick rest and recoperation before the remainder of the night.
Orginally I was dismayed about a trip to Ren but it turned out to be a blast, due to some super fun last minute attendees (Sharon, her boy Perry, Dre, and roommate Chris) and that of course is in addition to the super fun people we saw at the bar. The music was pretty good, I definately enjoyed a back-to-back playing of Dirrty. We left somewhat early, which was a great idea because it meant actually catching a cab!
