Last term when people heard Johnny and I were doing the long distance thing, the main thing they replied (or most of them anyway) was "That's impressive, congratulations." And this always made me feel silly. But now this term I am beginning to see that congratulations are in order - long distance does weird things to your head. With the time difference and our somewhat opposite schedules, we don't get the chance to talk much and I often interpret that negatively. Luckily, something usually happens that reminds me there's a reason we're doing this long distance deal. Congratulations to us.
