Have survived the mid-term trip to Brussels and Paris as well as the internet being down for 24 hours (which was the harder of the two to survive).
Brussels was a cute city where we were actually located somewhere central finally! Ate many many waffles and drank lots of cheap good beer.
Our arrival in Paris was met with a snow flurry. It made things somewhat pretty but it was totally freezing. Grrrr. We did an evening boat cruise with all the students, which was messy as all hell. The tour guide was apparently saying in french how uneducated all the students are and how she wanted to throw them overboard. The cruise ended with a drunk student being sick all over the seats. Klassy to the max. After that we split from most of the students to enjoy some wine along the streets of Paris until Jeff had the bottle of wine ripped out of his hands by a mugger! Luckily they just wanted the wine, only in Paris.
