On Saturday, I trekked downtown for the Toronto International Film Festival to see Souvenir of Canada. It was a documentary based on Douglas Coupland collecting images that are nostalgic for Canadians. It was highly entertaining! It also reunited me with Jenn, as she was the mastermind behind this fun activity. After the movie was over, we stuck around to try and see Will Ferrell and Ed Harris, but we ended up snagging a picture of Zooey Deschanel. Then it was off to the movie party as Jenn is friends with the producers boyfriend. We go a free drink and free food and go to see Douglas Coupland up close and personal. By the time we thunk about what to ask him, we couldn't find him anymore. The night was capped off by searching Yorkville for celebrities but all we saw was some vomit outside Sassafraz. I just have to say whoever did was real klassy.
