Interesting, while 37% of lottery winners use their funds to pay off their mortgage, 63% bought a new car. Why not do both? Our office pool only took in $5 from the recent draw but you can bet that since Wednesday is up to $40 million, we'll be entering again.

So I can't walk properly today. On WEDNESDAY, I went to the gym for my first actual workout session with weights and a personal trainer (yes, I splurged). I knew I was going to be sore yesterday no matter how much I stretched...but this morning I woke up and my legs have never been so stiff/sore. I'm a baby and this is ridiculously painful. I don't even want to have major leg muscles...grrrr to my P.T.

I attend my first Waterloo alumni event today - a trip to the Ontario Science Centre. It's been many years since I've been there and there isn't as much as I remembered there being - but perhaps it's because I'm bigger. The main draw was the Body Worlds exhibit. It was just crazy to believe those are actual bodies. When I have lots of time on my hands, I'm going to read all about the plastination process. Some of the reasons listed that people donated their bodies for this purpose were interesting and got me thinking - although I realize it was propaganda, it does seem slightly tempting to forever be plastic.
