If anyone is intrested in traveling to California for a week at the end of April, I am in search of a travelling companion. Going to fly into San Francisco, party around there for a bit before heading down to Los Angeles and The Price is Right! Travel dates are April 24 - May 1. The cost is LOW...the flight is only like $350 including taxes! We'll be staying in hostels to further save on the cheapness, and hopefully someone will win BIG with Bob Barker.
Dreaming of Hawaii

How dare the producers of 24 make me shed a tear for George Mason departing so gracefully and giving Tony his position as Director of CTU. Congratulations 24, you've made me laugh (Kim and the puma), you've made me cry (see above), you've made me yell at the TV (at every commercial break), great freakin' job!
There's still another 27 minutes too!!! I hope I can make it!
I think we are on track for one of the best episodes yet of 24!!! My prediction is that this mysterious 7th member of the Coral Snakes will end up stealing the bomb and getting away at 9:59pm. I wish it could somehow be a reality that this 7th member is Nina Myers, even though that may not work, it'll still be someone we've known from the past!
Oh my - as if Sherry is trying to pull another "I did it for you David!" How can she be trusted? She's been given 30 minutes to show David how she is telling the truth. I think if it turns out Sherry is innocent, that will be a biggest bomb of all! Almost ironic too how they might be able to make an evil character appear good instead of the usual opposite.
Where's Kim, is she still in that bunker with creepy cousin Billy-Bob Jed?

I don't understand my school habits. I continually leave things to the last minute first of all. Never smart. I needed that threat of a deadline hovering over my head in order for me to get work done. I think in future terms when I get a course sylabus, I will hand it over to a trusted friend, who will cross out the actual due date and make up an earlier date for each and every assignment. Although this doesn't actually accomplish too much because I will still work to get it done at the last minute before my fake deadline and then never touch it again, just hand it in as is.
The other factor is that I don't view myself as a major procrastinator because there are many people who procrastinate much worse than I do, or at least that's how I view things. Save me! (yes, a plea for help - now this is REALLY an online diary)

A busy weekend with nothing accomplished. Friday night I got dressed up as a cowboy to partake in an Evening of Murder. Luckily engough for me, this cowboy was on crutches, great for me since I was still in pain from hockey the previous night.
On Saturday, I checked out The Hours with Dave and Joel. It was a pretty decent movie, wish I had read Mrs. Dalloway prior to seeing it or new more about Virgina Wolfe.
The decision was later made to head to Ren, which ended up being a bit more populated then we had thought. According to Alison, I did more grinding than dancing. The night passed very fast until we had to search for a cab in the crazy blizzard like conditions, it was about 30 minutes before we saw one and were whisked away to our warm little beds.

I can really feel the outcomes of increasing my physical activity over these last few days. On Wednesday I headed down to the gym to do a quick cardio workout but also did some sit-up's and push-up's. The next day I could feel it, my abs and chest were both hurting. Nonetheless I decided I would play some ice hockey with the dons last night. Now it's been awhile since I put on skates but I didn't think I would be THAT bad. I could barely stop and quite a few times I managed to twirl around several times before landing on my ass. We play without equipment (besides a helmet) so you really feel it. I woke up this morning expecting to feel as though I got hit by a ton of bricks but I was fine...however it hadn't been long engough after the hockey (which ended at midnight) because at about 4pm my back began to have incredible pain and I became a funny walker. For the first time ever, I actually took some Ibuprofen for muscle pain instead of solely for a headache. I am taking a break today from physical exercision and am hoping for a game of squash tomorrow.

As much as I used to love snow, it is now my enemy. When I see it snowing and I am in Uxbridge I know there will be dire consequences. Since I have been home for my portion of reading week, I have done very little exciting things because no one was really around. I did see Amy on Sunday for Chicago and she confirmed she will be auditioning for Canadian Idol. Yesterday, Sandra and I watched Joe Millionaire. I did have it in my mind to come out to her but I backed down. I think I'll tell her one night after I've been drinking.
Anyhoo, the big plan for funess is supposed to happen tonight. Caroline and her Adam, Jess, Cheri, Giselle and I are going to get drunk and go bowling! But now with the snow starting so early in the morning and with the threat of a snow storm I can't help but worry that tonight's plans are going to go down the drain. The snow also means that my mom may back out of driving me back to Waterloo on schedule. How is that snow was such a source of enjoyment for me when I was young but now it's the source of fear and loathing?

Ahhhhhhhhh, so two people who don't really love each other have found love with one another and for it they each get $500,000. What a farce. Yes most Reality tv shows are game shows with a prize at the end but Joe Millionaire was supposed to be like The Bachelor. Why did I even bother with this show if Alex McCleod couldn't even bother? She was not a host, next time the butler should be the host. Not that a next time could really happen, all the girls would know about it. I think they should take an idea from Saturday Night Live and have a "Joe Heterosexual" where it turns out Joe is really a gay man but then in the surprise twist is that if the girl ends up still deciding to be with him, they give them both $500,000 for doing the right thing and following thier hearts.

I am such a sucker for anything reality based on television. We all know my obsession with shows like Survivor, Amazing Race, and Big Brother. I've realized the roots of my reality tv show enjoyment stems from game shows. Back in the day, game shows were the only reality tv around and I watched a large majority of them religiously growing up. I realized this tonight as I watched "The Most Outrageous Game Show Moments," it was freaking hysterical! Much more enjoyable than bloopers from scripted drama. Why? Because you are seeing honest reactions to the events. I find people to be very fascinating so it only makes sense that I am obsessed with watching this naturalness on tv over scripted shows.

The door has been slightly open to me finally going to see Bob Barker on The Price is Right. Two other dons, Alex and Steve, who happen to be the guys I play poker with and are also my enemies at Risk, have me tempted to join them on a trip down to California. They'll be flying to San Francisco for a few days, then travelling southwards to San Diego where they plan to buy a car which they will drive across the US and return to Canada in. I, however have my interest piqued at the possiblity of flying with them to San Fran, going south but stopping in L.A. to go and visit one of the coolest older men I know (well not personally, as of yet). After a couple of days in LA, I would then head back up to San Fran to catch my flight home while the other boys head south in search of thier car. The flight is only $340 including taxes! That's return from Buffalo however. A few bugs would need to be worked out obvivously. I have though always wanted to travel along the west coast of the US before landing in BC. So that idea is currently in my head too. All these thoughts of west coast travelling also of course put the idea of Hawaii strongly in my brain. What is a boy to do?

Another one bites the dust. I saw Bowling for Columbine tonight. That was some good stuff. I am very glad that a movie I head great things about has lived up to it's expectations. Michael Moore did a fantastic job of basically making a video essay. His film followed the basic idea of an essay but used it's medium to the full potential to really drive home the points and facts. Great job of incorporating real footage of events. I think I stopped breathing when they took us right inside Columbine High School. It was funny to finally put a face to the name of Mike Bradley, mayor of Sarnia.
I wonder if it got nominated for an Oscar. WAIT! I would have known if I watched the nominations this morning! Every year now since grade 12, I have made a point of watching the nomination ceremony live at 8:30am, but alas I missed it today because I skipped a class to sleep in. argh.

I am greatly looking forward to this week being over and going home for half of reading week. School is draining me. Donning is draining me. I am draining me. I miss my wonderful sleep and the dreams I have. I wonder if I can get a job where all I do is sleep all day and recount the dreams.

Went a saw a movie all by myself for the first time. I went to the Princess Cinema so it wasn't too bad because it's a very normal occurrence to see people there by themselves. It was a Spanish movie that I saw, "Talk to Her" and it was about 2 women each in a coma and the men who loved them. The theme was loneliness and it was very appropriate all things considered.
I am still looking for people to attend some of the movies on the right hand list with me. The only time I can see Bowling For Columbine is Tuesday at 9pm.

It's amazing how a good situation can quickly turn into a bad situation. I was being super studious (sp?) and decided to take a short break to play a game of risk online (max time = 30 min) however the 30 minutes turned into 2 hours and now it's 3am and I am soooooo tired. Instead of rewarding myself with Risk, I should have rewarded myself with sleep seeing as how I always enjoy my dreams.

Does someone know how I can list the blogs in my blog link section in two or three columns instead of the extending list?
Studying for the big neuroscience exam is getting me back in the swing of school and being a smart kid. I am impressive with my ability to name the various parts of the sheep brain but I am far from anything when it comes to knowing what these parts do and how they work within the brain. Luckily the exam is an equal split of both, so getting 100% on one part and at least passing the other means an overall of 75%.
I think as well the fact that I spend the majority of my time in the same building makes things feel even more like high school which is more condusive to my learning style.
I have posted a list of movies I NEED to see ASAP. Some are only playing at the Princess for a few days so. If you want to check any of these movies out with me, let me know.

I am still alive!!! For those of you who were actually concerned about me, thank-you! The Prom was enjoyable - I just don't think it should have been called a prom because really that is for high school. We all looked very cute. I wish I had hair though, not many gay boys running around with shaved heads like me and I felt a tad out of place.
This weekend has been a super long weekend, simply because of some major personal hurdles that needed to be taken care of. Aaron and I combated our largest issue to date, which is also probably the root of any of our other problems. Everything is fine and we are still together and happy.
Now I REALLY need to turn my attention to school work. EEEK. Midterm tomorrow, but it's my elective so I don't care too much. Then on Thursday is a super important midterm for my physiology course. I need to learn all the parts of sheeps brain for it and as well know the way the brain functions. Although this course is Research in Neuroscience, I lucked out and this is our only test and it's only 25%. Everything else is papers, presentations, and participation. I love these 300 level psych research courses. They're like rewards for making it this far.
I also really need to email and get in touch with people I haven't talked to in awhile...namly my parents! Sorry mom and dad! I think the last time I talked to them was at the beginning of January, bad son that I am.
